Visitor Information
For all visitors:
Visitors must follow instructions on signage and self-screen at entry points for any symptoms of illness prior to visitation. Please do not visit if you are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms.
Every visitor must wear a mask while in any AllianceHealth Durant and Madill facilities when COVID-19 community transmission is high. If a visitor refuses to wear a mask they will be asked to leave the facility. Please practice hand hygiene and social distancing.
Patients requiring isolations in any unit (including COVID-19) |
2 adult visitors (18 years of age and older) will be allowed visitation. Visitors must comply with unit specific PPE guidelines. |
Emergency Department |
2 adult visitors (18 years of age and older) will be allowed to visit in the emergency department when a patient is in a private room. Children may be allowed to visit on a case by case basis determined at the time of treatment. |
General medical floors, including Med/Surg |
Up to 4 visitors at a time. |
Critical Care (PCU and ICU) |
2 adult visitors (18 years of age and older) at a time. |
Women’s Center |
Patients will be allowed 3 non-interchangeable adult support persons while in labor; following delivery, in postpartum, patients are allowed 1 non-interchangeable support person and 2 adult visitors (18 years of age and older) during visiting hours. |
Nursery
|
Two banded adult visitors per patient will be allowed during visiting hours: 10 a.m. - 12 p.m., 3 p.m. - 6 p.m., 10 p.m. - 12 a.m., and 3 a.m. - 6 a.m. |
Surgical Services |
Only one adult visitor (18 years of age and older) will be allowed on the day of surgery. Exceptions may be made for pediatric patients and on a case by case basis. |

Exceptions may be made for patients less than 18 years of age, end of life, birth and patients who are clinically unable to actively participate in their care.
NOTE: All employees of AllianceHealth Durant and Madill who have family members in the hospital are subject to the same restrictions on visitation.
Wi-Fi
AllianceHealth Durant offers free wireless internet access for our patients and visitors. Wireless access points are located throughout the hospital. Patients and visitors can access the wireless internet by following a few simple steps. Instructions are available at the switchboard and information desk.
